Hello my name is Ashley and welcome to my online gallery. Feel free to explore my collection of paintings on various subjects but mainly landscapes in watercolour.

All dimensions are for the painted image excluding borders and prices are exclusive of delivery.

Watercolour Painting Classes

I am now running classes in my studio at Wethersfield Arts Centre. Why not come along and join a small friendly group for all ages and abilities. The class starts with a brief demonstration followed by detailed help and guidance with your chosen subject.

Current Projects

Morning Stroll

Hot off The Easel.

I'm currently working on a series of paintings for my next books which will be "Sunrise-Sunset" and "Winter". The idea is to paint sunrises and sunsets throughtout the seasons, containing recognisable locations and landscapes.

Commissions

These are always part of an artist's life and I often have at least one on the go. Subjects requested are normally houses, gardens, wives, children, pets and occasionally favorite landscapes.

I have just finished producing illustrations for the book published in 2008 "Fishing With The Fly" by J.N. Watson. Below is a sample from the book.

I undertake a limited number of commissions annually if you are interested in me undertaking a commission for you please contact me.

Upper Barns Bed & Breakfast

Upper Barns, built in 1590, has been converted into a comfortable and characterful home with a wealth of exposed beams. This Grade II listed building sits in a quiet corner of the charming village of Wethersfield with plenty of private off-street parking. The lovely landscaped gardens add to the relaxing atmosphere.

You are assured of a warm welcome and good service during your stay. Breakfasts are a special experience using locally sourced ingredients where possible, and served between 7:30 am and 9:30 am on the Tudor banqueting table in the "Great Hall". Paintings Books and Prints are available for sale from husband and professional artist, Ashley, and his range of artwork adds interest to your stay.
